L’Oréal is using Gen AI to boost product personalization

L’Oreal is using generative artificial intelligence to help its global team of 4,000 researchers develop new products and reformulate existing ones. The effort is a result of a partnership between the company and IBM, which L’Oréal research and innovation chief transformation and digital officer Matthieu Cassier said builds on years of beauty science expertise and data structuring to open a new era in its innovation and development process.
