The online EU B2C Cross-Border turnover is estimated at €132,3 billion, without travel this results in €108,75 billion. This is an increase of 14,4% compared to 2018. The Cross-Border share of the total e-commerce turnover is 23,55%, a rise of 3,3% compared to 2019.
The distribution between sellers from within the EU16 and those outside is 58% EU16 vs 42% outside. This means that EU16 sellers including marketplaces are slightly winning market share, more precisely from 55% to 58% in 2019.
