The chairman guided them with his academic and consulting experience in order to create this digital Blue Paper. This inclusive and transparent group believes that we are stronger when we work together, and it collaborates closely with the European Commission and Parliament to develop this set of recommendations.

"The shift to Brands Direct-to-Consumer is largely driven by emerging customer demand for brands. Out of the TOP 500 Cross-Border European retailers, 96 or 19% are brand manufacturers that sent their products directly to consumers in 2020. The more the European market is harmonised in regulating online retail, easier it is to expand across borders resulting in lower prices to end customers."
