How to design a landing page that converts

Nobody purposely creates an uninspiring landing page. Unfortunately, it happens quite often. As a result, average conversion rates across industries are so low that up to 99% of traffic does not convert. Though a conversion rate between 0.5% and 5.0% might be average, that doesn’t mean it’s ok to settle for.
