In 2020, Men’s Wearhouse set out to digitize the fitting process for customers and now, almost a year later, the retailer has seen size prediction accuracy above 92%. Men’s Wearhouse became the first company in the U.S. that year to launch Contactless Fit by Bold Metrics, powered by a proprietary AI platform. The experience was rolled out as part of parent company Tailored Brands’ broader company initiative to remove the friction of in-person measurements, while elevating the fit and sizing experience for shoppers in-store, all without the need for in-person measuring or stepping into a fitting room.
